“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11 |
CHAPTER REVIVAL:We are looking for some awesome women at #UVA who are ready to take the plunge into a Christian sisterhood all about faith, fun, and fellowship! This semester we are seeking especially driven gals who want to help us re-establish our Alpha Theta Chapter.
SAO aims to be a Christian sisterhood founded first in Christ and second in sisterhood. What that means is that we first seek Christ in our daily commitments and secondly encourage one another on in the commitments we have made to Christ. After all, living a life honorable to Christ is not always easy! If you feel you can contribute and benefit from a group of women who want to encourage each other in our daily walk with Jesus, we may just be the perfect fit! |

Alpha Theta in a Nutshell
SAO was founded in 1998 at NC State, but our chapter began here at #UVA in 2013. At both a local chapter level and nationally, during college and as alumnae, our sisters together pursue these 9 Biblical Ideals: Christian Leadership, Sisterhood, Spiritual Development, Campus Leadership, Good Scholarship, Fine Standards, Service, Excellence, and Love through Life in Christ.
Our chapter membership here at the University of Virginia has waxed and waned over the years, and now we are at a critical point in our growth: sink or swim. We believe God has put us here to refocus and find the perfect women to help us grow in authentic sisterhood through our faith. Could you be one of them?
